In Near Fine condition. Bound in the publisher's full russet-brown cloth. Both the spine and the front panel are stamped in gilt. Quarto. Intriguingly decorative endpapers. Brown topstain. 256pps., with 12 full-color plates and numerous black-and-white drawings by the artist. No dustjacket. This volume has a bit of bumping to the spine-ends and, faintly, a bump to the lower rear tip. It is, otherwise, clean, tight, square, and bright. The textblock is immaculate; no apparent reading wear and no previous ownership markings. Brilliantly and beautifully illustrated by Rackham, with all of the plates intact and well-protected under the original captioned, non-acidic tissue. An excellent example of this edition.
