8vo 8" - 9" tall; 312 pages; HC in original cloth binding with titles in gilt to spine. Wide border ruling and publisher's decorative colophon stamped in blind to boards. Square, soundly bound and generally neat. Bookplate of a libera arts college philosopical society is mounted to the front pastedown, with a few catalog numbers penned there and later crossed out. Prior owner names penned to front flyleaf. Small handwritten paper catalog label attached to spine. Mild sunning to cloth at spine. Several pages creased at the top front corner. Overall about VG.
