Five Volume Set Hardcover in Very Good Condition 5 volumes in Red,light green,blue,brown,and dark green cloth boards with gilt lettering to the front boards and spines and each volume has an oval mounted coloured illustration to each board on the front cover.Each volume with illustrations by Charles Green with about 30 drawings and 'The Cricket on the Hearth' contains 22 illustrations from original drawings by L. Rossi and with an introduction to each by Clement Shorter.Slight uneven fading to the front cover of 'A Christmas Carol,and an outline pen mark to the front pastedown of 'The Haunted Man' 2 tape repairs made to page 109 of A Christmas Carol.There are NO former names or inscriptions present.Slight wear to head of spines on a couple of the books,corners with some slight bruising.very clean internally.Graded Very Good overall 8vo Five Volumes [1912].
