Text of the fourteenth century english poem edited by members of the Chaucer course English 21-22 in Bowdoin College under the direction of Prof. Stanley P. Chase. No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards, slight loss to silver lettering on spine. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked but chipped along top edge. 84pp. One of a limited edition of 1000 copies. An attempt to make a text of the famous Middle English poem by the anonymous author from Chaucer's time which is more agreeable to the eye and much easier to read than any other earlier version. Includes several appendixes of explanatory notes and a glossary of the words used. Scarce. Size: 7 x 4.5 inches.
