Hardcover book in very good condition with brick red cloth boards and spine, indigo blue decoration on front board and blue panel on spine with silver gilt lettering; indigo-colored top edges, pastedowns, and end papers; deckled fore edges; faint bump to lower right heel of spine; very light cocking of the spine; one small spot of dampening to lower edge of rear board near heel with a small amount of superficial dye transfer present at bottom page edges towards end of book without bleedover into text block; subtle inward bowing of rear board; fore corners sharp and binding tight; 4" oblong brown leaf-shaped ephermera stain at the bottom of page 6 with transfer to pages 4,5, and 7. Dust jacket in good condition in pictorial heavy linen paper; unclipped with original price of $5.95 intact; corresponding bump to lower right heel of spine with roughing; three short closed tears to head of spine panel with wrinkling; roughing to upper rear panel fore edge with a chip; roughing to same lower edge; heavily toned jacket interior, heaviest at folds and inside spine; corresponding small dampening mark on lower rear panel at heel; iconic jacket art by Stephanie Tevonian.
