First Edition. Extract from Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of London, Vol. 190. 9 x 12in. 45-186pp. 4 plates. Folding table. Text illustrations. Bound in recent archival buckram. The former copy of the neuroscientist Clinton N. Woolsey with his ownership signature at the front endpaper. VERY GOOD. Shows some chipping and losses from the outermost margin of the title page never obstructing text, plate 4 with some small chips and losses from the outmost margin never obstructing the image, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards remain bright and distinct. As pictured.
