First Edition (first printing). Slim 8vo. 48pp + [ii] publisher's advertisements for other titles in the series. Card wrappers, featuring upper and lower wrapper designs [probably by Vanessa Bell]. Just a trace of toning and dust soiling to the wrapper margins. Very good indeed. A forty-page essay by the noted British musicologist, composer and writer, issued here as #14 of the Hogarth Essays, second series. 1,000 copies were printed, yet it remains one of the more uncommon of the Hogarth publications.
