A handsome set of 2 volumes, 8vo. Full calf leather with gilt decoration. Raised bands on spine with red and black bands. Both volumes are in remarkable shape for their age. Pages contain minor marking in margins, sparing spots of foxing. Volume 2 contains a stamp from the "Royal Thorpe Collection" on the title page. Both bindings are not only intact, but also tight. Minor wear to cover edges, but no fraying or excessive rubbing. Head and foot of spines are excellent. Volume 1 contains list of subscribers that contains the name of "Benj.
