A very good copy of the apparent first hard cover edition (no explicit edition or printing statement) of the complete thirteen volume set, lacking dust-jackets (as issued). The text of each volume is wholly unmarked, pristine -- no owner's signature(s), marks, notes, or highlighting of any kind -- and the red cloth binding with gilt lettering of each volume is remarkably bright and fresh in appearance, though the brilliance of the spines varies (see scan), due to variable sunning. These are NOT ex-library copies, having issued from the personal library of a scholar whose work was focused on the early history of the international peace movement. A stunning copy of the complete set. [Please note: Due to the size and weight of the set extra shipping may be required depending on the destination and speed of delivery requested. International buyers especially may wish to inquire. Quotations gladly provided, and additional scans are available upon request. We do ship daily.].
