[front flap] Jacket spine tanned, with shallow chips, slight creasing, and a one inch closed tear from head along upper fore-edge. Offsetting to free endpapers from flaps. Top edge of textblock foxed; fore-edge less so. Occasional foxing, heaviest to half title and title page. Binding sound, hinges secure, signature to front free endpaper.
