There is something inherently vintage about this book and I wonder if the topic: "Painting Roses on China" is still common? Doubtless there is someone out there who will enjoy this book and the guidance it provides. And then there is the collectible aspect to it; this book is signed by the Author. Even the binding--green cloth with silver gilt titling--seems a bit old-fashioned! Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket has some edge wear including three small tears and some wrinkles edges. The hard covers are clean and bright and barely bumped. Inside, the Author's signature, date and someone else gift inscription are the only marks I found. The interior pages and plates are clean and bright, without toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
