First UK edition. Cloth-covered boards with dust jacket. Near fine copy (one negligible "lip" in cloth at top edge of front board) in very near fine dust jacket with a tiny bit of wear at the top of the spine. Owner's name inconspicuously written under front flap of dust jacket. Colorful jacket design by Stephen Russ. Set in Madrid. Paco has a bizarre occupation, namely, to impregnate wet nurses so that they can keep producing, but has never made his own wife pregnant. That event when it happens is cause for suspicion.
