Six volume set (lacking VI of the Poetical Works), with the addition of the 1842 'Poems, Chiefly of Early and Late Years' as Vol VII. Bound in contemporary half black leather with worn marbled boards. Vol. I with portrait frontispiece by W. H Watt. Provenance: bookplate for Gulielmi Greenwell to the front paste down. Approximately 6 ¾ inches tall. Condition Report Externally Spine fair to good condition half black leather binding, spines rubbed and worn with some loss of colour, gilt titles. Joints good condition structurally sound, worn, starting to the top of the front joint of Vol 7. Corners good condition bumped and worn. Boards good condition half leather, with marbled boards, worn. Page edges good condition top edge darkened, others tanned. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition paper intact to all volumes, apart from the front hinge of Vol 1 and 7. Paste downs good condition marbled with bookplate for Greenwell to the front paste down. End papers good condition marbled, subsequent end papers tanned. Title good condition tanned.
