No publishing information given, this is the First Edition of this scarce book of poems by Sarah Barker, most likely privately published for the author, bound in dark blue buckram cloth. A Shropshire authoress, The Poems are mostly locally themed around the towns of Dawley, Coalbrookdale, Ironbridge, and Wellington, with poems on the War Memorials of the towns, royal visits to Shropshire, Empire Day, Armistice Day, Empire Day, The Wrekin, Madeley Court House, Captain Webb, Pool Hill School Dawley, Lord Forester, Dawley Memorial to the fallen, etc, 7 inches tall, 113 pages, not specifically dated, but the latest date in the poems titles is 1933, so I assume the book would have been published in the early 1930s, covers in very good condition , internally noticeable foxing to endpapers, a few minor foxing marks within else contents in very good general condition A NICE EXAMPLE OF THIS VERY SCARCE BOOK.
