First impression of the true first edition. ***Very good in moss green cloth covered boards with gilt titles to spine. Neat ownership inscription to top of front free endpaper in ink 'H. C. Sutcliffe December 1970'. Front and rear boards clean. Sharp corners. Spine tight. Pages bright. ***In a very good colour printed dustwrapper showing the original publisher's dual price of £1.50 30/- net. Dustwrapper just slightly creased and rubbed, with the front and back panels slightly discoloured and marked (being a matt white background). ***90 pages. 222 mm x 156 mm. ***'Poems 1968-1970 is a successor to Collected Poems 1965 and Poems 1965-1968, following which Robert Graves was awarded the Queen's Gold Medal for Poetry.'
