Le prince NAPOLEON, fils du roi JERÖME le plus jeune frère de NAPOLEON Ier, était le cousin germain de l'empereur NAPOLEON III. Esprit libre et volontiers critique à l'égard de son cousin, il fut perçu comme l'enfant terrible du Second Empire. Une biographie magistrale. Quand on étudie l histoire du Second Empire, on constate que, parfois, un rôle important, sinon de premier plan, est tenu par un personnage qui, ensuite, par intervalles plus ou moins prolongés, disparaît brusquement de la scène officielle. Il s agit du Prince NAPOLEON ( JEROME ) dit PLON-PLON, cousin germain de l Empereur NAPOLEON III et frère de la Princesse MATHILDE. Ses périodes d action, suivies d éclipses soudaines, ont surpris ses contemporains, et sa figure est restée pour aux très énigmatiques. Pour les uns, il était remarquablement doué et riche de brillantes capacités, trop rarement utilisées par le Gouvernement. Pour les autres, il était surtout un ambitieux déçu de ne pas être l héritier direct du trône impérial, gaspillant les ressources d une belle intelligence dans une vaine agitation, contrecarrant volontiers le pouvoir de son cousin l Empereur et se faisant à plaisir, une réputation d anticléricalisme. En réalité, comme son cousin NAPOLEON III, le prince NAPOLEON fut méconnu et, de plus, souvent incompris. Il fut sans doute le personnage le plus vilipendé de son temps. Car cet héritier au caractère bien trempé ne renia jamais ces idées libérales et progressistes, ni ses amis tels PROUDHON, FLAUBERT, RENAN, TAINE, Georges SAND et Alexandre DUMAS. Représentant l aile radicale du bonapartisme, il siégea avec les républicains durant la II° République et condamna le Coup d État du 2 décembre 1851, avant d entrer à reculons dans la peau d une altesse impériale lors de la restauration de l Empire par son cousin. If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
