Ben marginoso e complessivamente ben conservato, lievemente allentata la cucitura del foglio centrale del primo fascicolo del secondo volume, ordinari segni del tempo. Edizione originale di questo lungo e irrappresentabile dramma storico che l?autore defin� �eretico, tra il teologico e il politico�. Revere, attraverso la descrizione delle lotte popolari e di un Savonarola profetico ed esaltato, dipinge un ritratto allegorico della situazione politica italiana, e �sotto il velo letterario ? manifesta la sua avversione per gli oppressori d?Italia� (Tavolara). Ben marginoso e complessivamente ben conservato, lievemente allentata la cucitura del foglio centrale del primo fascicolo del secondo volume, ordinari segni del tempo.
