A narrative poem by George Crabbe with 22 etchings by Anthony Davies with an introduction by Edward Lucie-Smith. Designed and printed by Ronald King in 10pt Baskerville onto Saunders 285 gsm rag paper; loose sections contained in cloth-covered slip-case and folder. The edition is limited to fifty books plus five Artist's Proofs, two Printer's Proofs and three copies marked H.C.( ie 10 proof copies) all signed by the artist. Published by Clare Beck. 40 x 37 cm. The copy offered by us is numbered 27 in pencil and signed with all plates initialed by the artist as expected and with all tissue guards. Fine - No previous owner name or inscriptions.
