A sturdy re-cased copy of the First Edition issued in June 1st 1862 and regularly re-issued until the turn of the century. Its scarcity partly explained by the number of copies broken for the print trade Crown 8vo.200pps +120pps of adverts mostly illustrated and many in two colours Green gilt stamped publishers cloth. One hundred engraved views including works and their interiors. Inscribed to the front endpaper "N.Sutton Loaned to Master Carr for Cutlers Hall" [presumably Arnold Carr who was Master Cutler 1971-1976] further scans available.
