(iv), 23, (1) pages, 100 plates. First edition. This rare book on architecture in Genoa was part of a series of books on Ital architecture. It is a large and fine production. The plates include four nicely executed chromolithographs, one of which is double-page. The remainde of the plates include thirty-eight excellent photogravures, measured drawings details, plans, elevations, etc. This appears to be the first volume in the series, which continued until 1914. While the entire series is mentioned by NUC, no location is given for any of the volumes. Some light edge wear, and front free endpaper and the half title page have been creased, still a good t very good copy of a rare book.
