This Charlton comic, advertised as a "double value" at just 15 cents for 68 pages, lasted 16 issues, from 1956 to 1959. Some of the interior artwork for this issue was created by the legendary Steve Ditko (b. 1927, co-creator of Spider-Man). Condition: Cover wear is limited to minor handling creases, with almost no edgewear. The cover is perfect-bound onto stapled internal pages. Some short creases appear along the spine due to binding stress. Back cover is toned around the edges and spine, and two small water stains are visible at the bottom edge, left and right. Stains affect the back cover only, not the interior pages. (See all photos.) The page edges are toned, as are interior page margins. Page tips rounded and somewhat worn. Slight spine roll. Conservatively graded Very Good (4.0), based on the grading standards in the 51st Edition of Overstreet (2021-2022), pp 212-215. Comes in an archival Mylar sleeve with an archival backing board.

Store description
Netherworld Books is an online seller dealing in rare and out-of-print fanzines, comics, magazines, paperbacks and hardcover books, mainly in the science fiction and fantasy fields. Because we deal only in collectibles, all items are carefully packed and shipped in sturdy boxes or heavily reinforced packaging to ensure full protection during transit. We insure all items and always provide tracking. Orders are mailed on Monday (if holiday, Tuesday), Wednesday and Friday. OUR PHILOSOPHY: We grew up haunting bricks-and-mortar bookstores, and we try to replicate as much of that experience here as possible. Our descriptions are always detailed and informational (as if you were talking to the proprietor face-to-face) and we always provide multiple pictures of our items, so you can feel as if you're actually examining an item you've taken off the shelf and are holding in your hand. We hope you enjoy the visit ... and find something of interest before you leave.…
