First edition. Hardcover. Pictorial papered boards rubbed a bit along the spine, o/w very good in fine price-clipped dustjacket with a small professionally closed tear. In the fine series (aimed at the older juvenile market), "People from the Past", edited by Egon Larsen. Illustrated with b/w photographs. A history of the West African country, Ghana, specifically the once opulent kingdom of Ashanti.
