Two Volumes, First Edition, xix + 321; (x) + 331pp, portrait frontis in both volumes, illustrated with 20 engravings in addition to two frontis, hardcovers, 8vo, bound in green-blue embossed cloth (the embossed crests on board were possibly originally in gilt), gilt lettered, top edges gilt, Provenance: with the ex libris angling bookplate of Ballynahinch in each volume [engraving signed by PCB [P. C. Baker], Del & Sc. which features a rod, reel, gaff hook and landing net with four fish, two rifles; river with mountains in background; two dead birds and one live bird], hinges strong and firm, binding a little worn at extremities(top and bottom of spines and corners) but good condition, Duckworth And Company, London, 1903. Additional Provenance: this bookplate features in 'A Catalogue of An Exhibition of Angling Book Plates' Held by the Grolier Club, New York, 1918.
