Item description from seller

Illustrated. 76 pages. Cover title: The 104th Open Golf Championship Carnoustie July 9th-12th 1975. Tom Watson wins the Open Championship in his first attempt. It took a playoff, but Watson's routine par at "Home", the green guarded by the treacherous Barry Burn and bunkers, garnered a one-stroke win over Jack Newton who made bogey out of the sand. This would be the first of his record-tying five Open victories, and also significantly, Watson's first of his lifetime eight major championships. Includes an entry ticket stub, an uncommon Steward's ticket. One draw sheet coupon remains, two neatly removed at perforations for redemption. Cover photograph of Gary Player. Covers protected in mylar. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
