Tragic and compelling, they provide a picture of life in the Pampas in the nineteenth century. In a quarter calf binding over marbled boards and endpapers. Externally sound with some shelf wear and minor rubbing to the spine and boards. Internally, firmly bound. Odd minor spotting to the front blank page, otherwise the pages are bright and clean.
