Description:
An exact facsimile of the Scribners first edition published in 1952. The book is fine except with no flaws I can spot- see photos. The dust jacket has a tiny white spot of wear at one corner, still fine. The slipcase is near fine with a perfect front panel, somehow the rear panel has some wear around the edges of the illustration. Otherwise the slipcase is fine- no bumps or wear. As always, photos are the best description. First Edition Library Facsimiles have the same weight, size, typeface, art, dust jacket, finish and texture as the originals. Even mistakes (all first edition points are present) were duplicated The publisher's slip laid in with a description of the book and its first edition points is not present, but a color copy on similar paper is provided.
