Small Folio. 4pp., 11 plates. Original tan, textured and string-bound textured wraps with gilt and brown lettering on cover. Multi colored lettering on title page. Laid in is a six page fold-out presenting design of exclusive advertising material. Covering the production of artificial precious wood, rendering valuable inlays, paneling and wooden wall decoration as well as interiors based on artistic designs. The introduction describes the process of photomechanical reproduction of precious wood, the benefits of Obpacher products, their availability and their application in possible settings. Eleven plates feature distinctive color photographs of samples for inlays for various types of wood including Thuja, walnut, mahogany, mammoth, birch and ash, a display window backdrop, intricate fillings and wall decorations as well as table designs and jewel cases. The products featured in the laid in fold-out include a perpetual calendar based on the design by Ludwig Hohlwein, one of Germany's most prolific poster designers known for his adaptations of photographic images, on the title page, a fixture to present merchandise in a display window, a Tarso landscape, a radio cover, control panel designs, moldings and two examples of wall decorations, one of them presented in an elaborate office setting. Some traces of wear along edges of wraps, few minor stains on cover, light creasing at lower right corner with respective signs of browsing. Wraps and interior in overall very good condition.
