This fine unmarked copy is bound in brown cloth covered boards with bright gilt titling to the spine a gilt decoration to the upper board, tight, white, bright and square. The unclipped dust wrapper has some minimal edge wear so best described as very good plus condition. International postal rates are calculated on a book weighing 1 Kilo, in cases where the book weighs less then postage will be reduced accordingly. Where the book weighs more than 1 Kilo increased charges will be quoted. This book was quite a new departure in horological literature. In it the author almost entirely avoids all the well known achievements of the greater masters and concentrates on those, in England and on the continent, who hitherto have not been so widely known, and yet who, as the reader will see, are deserving of the highest recognition. This book is profusely illustrated and with one or two inevitable exceptions, none of the clocks appearing in the latest edition of Britten appears in Mr.Lloyd's book, thus considerably enlarging the field for the horological enthusiast.
