This is an ORIGINAL one-sheet movie poster for "THE MOON IS DOWN". This was a 1943 film from 20th Century Fox. The sourcework for the film was the John Steinbeck novel. The screenplay was by Nunnally Johnson. The film starred sir Cedrick Hardwicke, Henry Travers, Lee J. Cobb, Dorris Bowden and Margaret Wycherly. The poster is 27" x 41" with a 1" linen border. Expertly linen backed. This movie tells the World War Two story of a Norwegian village, invaded by Nazis, and of the bravery and resistance of the people. Near Fine.
