Original publisher's green cloth; endpaper maps. 21.5 x 15 cm. A few, minor traces of soiling to cloth; corners of boards and some leaves lightly bumped. Light foxing to margins of plates and facing pages. Ink ownership stamp (George B. Lanham of East Rainelle, West Virginia) on the half-title and at the head of the preface. Still, about very good, lacking the dust jacket. FIRST EDITION. Thornton 3462.
