Ex-library. Original red-brown cloth binding with silver text on cover and spine. Catalog number on spine, Mary Fletcher Hospital School of Nursing Library stamps inside, and card pocket and date slip at rear. Spine is beginning to tear at top, and cloth shows wear at edges. Pages are tanned but unmarked. Very slight dampstain to corner of final pages. This book was written for the student and graduate nurse in the hospital outpatient department, the independent outpatient clinic, the industrial clinic, the private group practice, the physician's office, and the hospital on patient discharge. It is organized in three parts: the outpatient department, the role of the nurse in the outpatient department, and suggestions for health teaching in a selected group of clinics. From the nursing history collection of Sarah Abrams. Hardcover, acceptable condition due to minor dampstain, first edition, first printing. 580 pages, octavo.
