About this Item

20 page card covered booklet, no date but c1920-30. Consists of page of spelling games and aids for a teacher perhaps for a child of 5-6. The booklet has covers that needed cutting out to play the main game and this (obviously) not been done here and would therefor be confident in saying it will be a rare survivor, especially being a thing not mass produced in the first place. One page has a closed tear at base and due to paper a few small edge splits to pages, but none severe or unsightly. Tall slim octavo. Printed card covers have minor rubbing at extremes. Good+ to VG. *Lots of points about being a "dunce" and wearing a dunces cap if a failure. (Educational History).

We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
