Octavo. Pp. 32. Laden with black-and-white photographs of potentates, dramatic stage productions, Nile Dancing Girls (Shriners in drag), etc. Sewn in stiff illustrated blue wraps. Fine. The first ceremonial was held in the Moore Theater in downtown Seattle in 1908 and by the early 1920 s, the Nile Temple had a growing membership of over 4,000. This program is printed with an exotic tableau of camel-riding fez-bedecked desert men at an oasis, a city in the distance, done in an art nouveau style. Now housed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
