In the publisher's original cloth, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Contains numerous in-text illustrations and all eight colour plates. Collated complete. Salaman explores how the beautiful medium of woodcut designs are expressed from across the globe, including Britain, Canada, Hungary and Japan amongst many other countries. Salaman offers his own criticisms of particular prints, as well as delving into the individual nuances and appreciation of woodcuts in each country. In the publisher's original cloth, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fading patches across boards. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine, and to the extremities, with minor rubbing to joints. Dust wrapper is generally bright and clean with slight age toning and browning to spine. Minor creases to wrapper spine and edges, with a chip to head of wrapper rear joint. End papers are generally bright and clean with slight offsetting to end paper hinges. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with minor age toning. Near Fine.
