8vo 8" - 9" tall; 34 pages; 1919, Charles Mason Remey & Bahai Publishing Society: Chicago. 1st edition. Softcover bound in flexible, glossy brown covers with green quarter cloth binding. Title panel in bold typographic font to cover; saddle stapled binding of the covers to the contents but with an extra set of grey paper wraps with identical title design inside the brown covers. Pictorial bookplate inside rear cover appears to be Remey's bookplate "From the Bahai Books of Charles Mason Remey" - but might have been placed to each copy, as most of Remey's original Bahai related books were more or less self-published. A small paper label below the bookplate numbers this book 398 and designates Franklin & Marshall College Library as the book's recipient. This copy deaccessioned from the F&M Library's collections, with expected insitutional attachments and indications, a pair of catalog labels to the upper cover spine area, bookplate to front pastedown, and slips and pocket remnants to rear endpages. A small ink stamped 5 digit number applied to blank area of a page at front and rear. Green quarter cloth may be original to publication or possibly library added. Mild stress wrinkling to front edge of some pages; a light shelf bump to the lower corner of the book. Uncommon early Bahai text with prior institutional ownership. Note that we have several other early Bahai book by this other, Efendi and others. Good only thus.
