Very scarce to find copies from this time.Contributors include American poet Ezra Pound ('Antheil, 1924-1926'), English writer Richard Church ('Catching the Bus') and from Eliot himself ('Fragment of a Prologue').'Fragment of a Prologue' marks one of T. S. Eliot's first attempts at writing a verse drama, with the book 'Sweeney Agonistes' (1932) being the first appearance to contain all scenes together, including this one.The drama consists of female prostitutes named Doris and Dusty who are visited by Sam Wauchope, a former soldier who introduces his war buddies Mr. Klipstein and Mr. Krumpacker.With a leaf of publisher's advertisements to the front and rear endpapers. In the publisher's wraps. Externally, with edge wear and sunning to the wrap, heaviest to the spine. With chips to the spine tail and a couple small closed tears. Handling marks to the extremities.
