Tight binding and clean, crisp (glossy) pages. The dust jacket is also in very good condition with some light wear at edges. The book is part of the Ronald Science Library and other books from the series are listed inside the dust jacket. The book includes black and white photos of creatures of the seashore. The author, although focusing on photography, offers insights and information on these fascinating critters--as far as was known in 1962. Author Percy A. Morris is listed as Chief Preparator, Peabody Museum of Natural History, Yale University. The author, in his preface, writes: "It is hoped that this book may be of some help to the camera enthusiast who has little first-hand experience with nature and equally useful to the nature lover who has never done much with a camera.".
