Item description from seller

A very smart first edition of this illustrated story of Napier, a British engineering company known for its luxury motor cars. First edition. Illustrated throughout. The full story of Napier, the London company whose cars established Britain as a major player in the pioneering days of international motor racing, and whose engines powered a series of world land speed record breakers. Written by David Venables, a British lawyer and motorcar enthusiast, becoming assistant editor of the Vintage Sports Car Club Bulletin. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Fine.
