191 Pages. Avon #t-267. Concave spine, bright cover. Text pages very lightly age-tanned. Tight book with no marks or stamps. The sinner and the lady. they were from two different worlds. Gregory Digby, a brash Aerican world traveler. Elizabeth Hanworth, a young English woman, with a strong sense of British propriety. But when these two found themsellves the sole survivors of a mid-ocean plane crash, they were suddenly in the same world --- a rubber life-raft world only eight feet in diameter. here, as the resuce hope dimmed, Elizabeth and Gregory came face to face with hunger, thirst and the surging instincts of their nearness. The story of their eventual rescue by a Russian ship and the subsequent nightmare of terror, shame, and international intrigue makes for a stirring, provocative noevl that is capped by tense and superbly exciting climax.
