this is an old original document produced for the North Eastern Railway by Richardson Le Maitre, Leeds, with a plan for proposed work on the road under the Fairburn Lane Railway Bridge to help drain surface water that is collecting on the road under the bridge, the detailed plan shows nearby Burton Salmon Railway Station, The Victoria Brewery, The North Eastern Railway Line, the road from Ferrybridge to York, etc Burton Salmon is a village in the Selby district of North Yorkshire the plan is folded and attached to a piece of paper with the brief details to the content written on outside there is no obvious date on the plan, but the North Eastern Railway stopped operating under that name in 1922, so it is earlier than that date, probably early 1900s the plan is folded and measures 15 inches by 12 inches opened A NICE PIECE OF EARLY YORKSHIRE RAILWAYANA.
