Gray pictorial dust jacket toned and soiled, 3cm chip at spine head, 7cm tear ascending from heel of front flap fold, shallower chips and tears at other edges, top corner of front flap is price-clipped; dj now presented in a mylar Brodart protector. Green boards. Some toning to top edge and fore-edge; endpapers toned; slender impression from removed tape strip at top of rear free endpaper verso with the newspaper clipping with which it was once attached now laid-in; past owner's personal name/address stamp on front free endpaper and again upon rear pastedown. Decorative bookseller sticker for "Plantation | Book Shop | Natchez, Miss." affixed at front pastedown's bottom right corner. Interior pages are otherwise clean. Binding is firm. A very good copy in only a good dust jacket with the author's three-line ink inscription upon the ffep: "Friendly greetings | from | Edith Wyatt Moore." {MS-Shelf#2}.
