A FIRST EDITION, First Printing, from 1967, this hardcover small 8vo (5.75" x 7.75") has glossy decorative paper over boards in a matte style (no acetate like other Whitman books for kids from this era). Condition is VG+: exceptionally clean & crisp, binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Pages noticeably tanned, but unmarked. Very slight rubbing to extremities, heavier at both ends of spine & all corners. No DJ, as issued (these never had them).
