First edition paperback original first printing of a near fine softcover with minor wear to the extremities, and pages toning. Released as the same time as the 1985 Canadian First Choice/ Superchannel cable movie starring Michael Ironside, it as well as the movie, when it was first shown did not show the ending of this murder mystery in space. The cable channel invited readers and viewers to guess who the murderer was for prizes. The contest page is present as the last page of text. The final 15 minutes of the film with the solution was shown at a later date when all the entries had been received. I'm not telling you who did it.
