Ziff Davis, Chicago, 1947. Hardcover. First Edition/First Printing as confirmed by McBride. Fine/Very Good. Not remaindered and not price clipped ($3.50). Book has been well preserved for 70 years and is clean and mark free throughout except for a little tanning and shelf wear at edges and a previous owner's sticker on the front end paper, with rigid, square boards and a tight spine. Appears unread. Jacket has some losses at most edges, up to 3 inches at spine base and rear cover, and very slight tanning at some edges, see pictures. However, looks scrumptious in its shiny new plastic cover. Shipping box is suitable for wrapping with a non-price listed purchase order inside along with biodegradable packing. This anthology is an assortment of the stories the Mystery Writers of America could not forget.
