584, 10 (ads.) pp. 1915. First edition. 8vo. sized. A very good, clean, tight and bright copy in original publisher's red cloth - gilt embossed to the spine and to the front board. 12 colour plates to include a frontispiece. Ads. to the endpapers. A former owner's blue ink name to the head of the front endpaper and below this a single strip of sellotape below this, which tipped on a newspaper cutting or somesuch. The game plate opposite page 448 is ever so slightly proud, but firmly and correctly attached. It has 2 or 3 expertly repaired short tears to the leading edge of the 'Game' plate, light creaing in places to that edge and a slight associated chip to the lower corner of that plate. Some light fading to the cloth spine - the titles in gilt remain legible. A very good copy. Seller Inventory # 240716
