Canadian-born Jacques [1916-2009] was a Fleet Street print journalist, a POW in Nazi Germany during WWII, becoming a top Canadian news commentator know as 'Jax'. In this book he writes a 'Cariboo-Chilcotin' memoir - his reminiscences of the beautifull British Columbia Interior. 180pp, illustrated. Seemingly a scarce B.C. item this copy appears fine, however, there is a long gift inscription to the verso of the front cover, and, a small 'ripple' to the foot of a handfull of pages at the front of the book.
