8vo. 192pp. Ampy illustrated with black-and-white photography. Gold metallic wraps lettered in black. Very Good+, light edgewear. The 50th anniversary edition with contributions from Joseph T. Hazard, Dee Molenaar, Aubrey L. Haines among others. The issue is a lavish tribute to the history of the outdoors organization, founded in part by UW history professor Edmund Meany, encapsulating a great variety of its activities - the Summer Outings, the plays, the various structures built and owned in the mountains of Washington State, all documented with excellent historic photos. This copy was owned by active Mountaineer Dan Evans, three-time Washington Governor and one-term US Senator; although it lacks his bookplate, a photo of Evans is laid in, in which he stands with four others in front of an alpine structure with the sign "Wildflower Ridge." Evans is listed in the membership roster. Seller Inventory # 9547
