True first American/British printing, 1925. No jacket. Book has a '1' on the final page - indicating a first printing. Brown boards with black lettering to spine and front are very good with a few small marks, a little pushing/bumping to corners, minor patchy darkening (including to spine), the odd small scratch, odd small bump/rub to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/fraying to the cloth) to head/tail of spine. Minor spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. End-papers tanned. Pages bit tanned. Odd small mark/minor foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. One scratch to edge of pages. Small mark to lower corner of a few pages. Couple of very small (approx. 3mms) tears to lower edge of first few pages. Occasional small marks/scattered foxing to pages. No other faults. A nice copy.
