About this Item
Cute but strange book - one of several such from this author, many of them concerning rabbits (OK, let's call them bunnies!). This is part story, part educational, as Old Mother Bun, with occasional help from a fairy or an elf, teach the youngsters (Healthy Bunny and Pretty Bunny) all about plants and flowers. The text is partly in rhyming couplets, partly not. The illustrations are partly black & white, partly two-color, and partly full color (four vibrant color plates). This is a good plus copy with cracked hinges leaving just a couple of pages with a tenuous connection to the binding. There are no completely loose pages. There's a bookplate on front pastedown, the title page is creased and partly separated, one leaf is torn on the foredge, but despite all this it remains a fairly attractive copy of a quite scarce book.
