This offering is a vintage copy of Moss - Mallards and Mules and Other Hunting and Fishing Stories written by Robert Brister and illustrated by Stanley Farnham. The book was published by Winchester Press 1998 and has the number line of a First Edition though it's not stated as such. Both the book and the dust jacket are in very good + condition. The book is NOT an ex-library copy - is 61/4" by 9 1/4" and has 216 pages with a Table of Contents and black-and-white illustrations scattered throughout. "These are Brister's characters - and his fiction is solidly based on truth. The unusual convergence of blue-clear Gulf currents moving inland to the beaches in "The Sharks" did occur - and a Brownsville fisherman died after a seagoing shark attacked him in the surf." Thank you.
